The original Planet Smoothie in Doral, Florida is doing so well there will be a second one coming to town soon. Planet Smoothie posted the new location announcement on their official website, this includes the address which is listed as 8695 NW 58th Street, Doral, FL 33178. The first Doral location is located at 9709 NW 41st St. Nationwide there are well over 100 Planet Smoothie locations.

Entrepreneur Martin Sprock

Planet Smoothie was founded by Martin Sprock in 1995 in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2011, the smoothie restaurant chain was acquired by Tasti D-Lite LLC.

Currently Martin Sprock owns a restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina named Kid Cashew. The Kid Cashew menu is centered around hamburgers, steak, chicken, seafood and vegan dishes. Sprock also owns a rotisserie chicken restaurant & bar in Charlotte named Coaltrane's Char Grill. And yet another restaurant in Charlotte named RuRu's Tacos + Tequila, that offers authentic mexican cusine.

Martin Sprock is also the co-founder of Moe's Southwest Grill restaurant chain.
