Newk's Eatery Coming Soon to Gainesville, Florida

Mississippi-based Newk's Eatery announced it will be opening soon in Gainesville, Florida at the new Butler Plaza. The Newk's Eatery website https://newks.com/ lists the address as 4041 Plaza Blvd.

When completed, Butler Plaza will be home to the who's who of the restaurant industry. Some of the future tenants include: Jimmy John’s, Keke’s, Cici’s Pizza, Culver’s, Friday’s, Zaxby’s, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Zoe’s Kitchen, Grub Burger, Yogurtology, Panda Express, P.F. Chang’s, Hungry Howie’s, Longhorn Steakhouse, Smoothie King, Maple Street Biscuit Co, Outback Steakhouse, Pollo Tropical, Starbucks, Texas Roadhouse, and Tijuana Flats.

Founded in 2004 in Oxford, Mississippi, Newk's Eatery is currently headquarterd in Jackson, Mississippi and has over 100 locations, primarily in the Southeast. Newk's Eatery's founders are Don Newcomb and his son and Chris. The two chefs reportedly based the Newk's restaurant concept on their own family recipes like made-from-scratch sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts,
