Chuy's Restaurant Coming to Pembroke Pines, Florida

Chuy's Tex-Mex restaurant will be joining the new Pines City Center residential and retail development on Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Publix recently opened at Pines City Center as a part of construction phase 1, with many other tenants either recently opened or on the way soon. Chuy's will apparently be a part of phase 2. The map below shows the approximate location of the future Chuy's.

Phase 1 of Pines City Center is bringing some familiar establishments to the area, as well as some not so familiar, but all much beloved. These include Outback Steakhouse, Smoothie King, Cooper's Hawk Winery, The Halal Guys, Bento Cafe, Pizza Rev, and Burger Fi. The full tenant list for phase 2 is yet unknown but it's off to a good start with Chuy's and their Tex-Mex cuisine.

Brief History of Chuy's

Chuy's was founded by Mike Young and John Zapp in 1982 out of a very humble location at 1728 Barton Springs Road in Austin, TX. There are now over 100 locations in the U.S. The company is still headquartered in Austin.
